Bert Stern originally created this silkscreen for his store, On 1st, which he opened in 1968. The concept was to combine, for the first time, a store with an art gallery. Providing artists with a new outlet for their art in a new form. On 1st made sold such items as Roy Lichtenstein’s paper plates, Bert Stern Marilyn Monroe silk-screen scarves, vintage pop art playing cards set with the erotic serigraph designs by Bob (Robert) Stanley, and much more.
